Clare Man On His Battle Back From Death’s Door, Thanks To Life Saving Cancer Treatment
Published 1 month, 2 weeks ago
Description
Gordon Flannery has had a year that nobody would want to go through.
The Ennis native, who is a publican in Listowel, Co. Kerry, received a colon cancer diagnosis in September of last year, and was told that he had just three months to live.
Gordon was extremely close to death when he underwent life-saving open bowel surgery in The Mater Hospital in Dublin to remove most of the tumour blocking his colon.
Gordon joined Alan Morrissey to share his story, and to encourage men to get checked.
