Episode Details

The Chicago Bears are heading into 2026 training camp with real expectations, real pressure, and several roster battles that could get ruthless fast. On today’s episode of Chicago Bears Central, Haize breaks down six Bears position battles that could shape the final 53-man roster, including RB3, WR3, CB2, left tackle, center, and the backup defensive tackle rotation.

Can Braxton Jones hold off Jedrick Wills Jr. and Theo Benedet at left tackle? Is Logan Jones ready to push Garrett Bradbury at center? Could Malik Muhammad threaten Tyrique Stevenson for the CB2 role? And who wins the wide receiver three battle between Kalif Raymond, Jahdae Walker, and rookie speedster Zavion Thomas?

Haize also reacts to ESPN analyst Bill Barnwell questioning the Bears’ playmaker group and explaining why Ben Johnson may be the biggest reason Chicago’s offense is being taken seriously. Are Caleb Williams’ weapons being underrated, or do Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III, Colston Loveland, Cole Kmet, D’Andre Swift, Kyle Monangai, and Zavion Thomas still have to prove it?

Plus, Haize dives into your voicemails on analytics, Caleb Williams’ MVP ceiling, Bears offensive balance, Ryan Poles’ approach to the defensive line, and whether Chicago should trust its current edge rush group heading into the season.
