I had everything on the outside—and was dying on the inside.

For nearly seven years, I hid behind the illusion of a “white picket fence” life while my alcoholism and prescription drug abuse spiraled out of control. Even with a thriving career in finance, I was blind to the destruction building beneath the surface. My world eventually collapsed. I lost the trust of my family, my friends, and my fiancée. I battled a gambling addiction, faced an arrest, and reached a point where I no longer wanted to live.

In September 2024, completely broken, I entered treatment. After a seventeen day medical detox and inpatient care, I was led to Hope IS Alive, a Christ centered sober mentoring program that changed everything. Through God’s grace, my life has been radically transformed—reuniting with my biological sister after decades apart, seeing a book published about my journey, and discovering a purpose I never imagined.

Today, I serve as the Outreach Manager for Hope IS Alive, waking up every day to chase excellence and follow the path God is leading me on. If you’re struggling with addiction, hopelessness, or feeling beyond repair—my story is proof that God can redeem anything.
