Narcisse Ngoy drafted by Clippers, will COMPETE for Auburn! Is 'draft-and-stash' era upon us?
Description
NBA draft chaos sends shockwaves through college basketball as Narcisse Ngoy is "draft-and-stashed" by the Los Angeles Clippers while still set to suit up for Auburn. Andy Patton unpacks the unusual draft scenario, breaking down the eligibility loopholes and the broader implications for both Auburn and NCAA basketball. Is this a sign of the sport’s changing landscape, or just a one-off quirk?
College stars like Henri Veesaar and Meleek Thomas gamble on going pro early, but did bypassing another season cost them millions and a shot at first-round security? Seniors dominate the second round, including Bruce Thornton, Richie Saunders, and Braden Smith, showing that experience still matters in the NBA talent pipeline. Plus, Michigan’s big three—Morez Johnson Jr., Yaxel Lendeborg, and Aday Mara—all crack the lottery, raising the stakes for next season. Get a rapid-fire recap of the winners, losers, and biggest surprises of draft week.
