We walk into the grocery store and see bananas, pineapples, mangoes and other tropical fruits year-round. But have you ever stopped to wonder where they come from, how they're grown on such a massive scale, and how they travel thousands of kilometres to end up fresh on our kitchen tables here in Montreal? David Wees, Faculty Lecturer in the Department of Plant Science at McGill University, spoke to Andrew Carter.
