Montreal is still trying to come to terms with Monday's deadly shooting in Côte-des-Neiges that left three people dead, including 34-year-old SPVM officer Mohamed Lamine Benredouane. Investigators are examining a lengthy manifesto allegedly written by the gunman, with reports suggesting it contained anti-police rhetoric, references to incel ideology and grievances involving the pornography industry. Dr. Stephanie Carvin is an Associate Professor at Carleton University's Norman Paterson School of International Affairs and a former national security analyst with the federal government; she spoke to Andrew Carter.
