Story Transcript:

Ja: 青木ヶ原樹海にて、ハルトは深く息を吸い込み、一歩一歩ゆっくりと進んだ。
En: In the Aokigahara Sea of Trees, Haru took a deep breath and stepped forward slowly, one step at a time.

Ja: 緑のざわめきが心を静めた。
En: The whisper of greenery calmed his mind.

Ja: 都会の喧騒からの逃避、それが彼の目的だった。
En: Escaping the hustle and bustle of the city was his purpose.

Ja: ハルトは静かに考えた。「森の中で、一人で歩くのは本当にいいな」と。
En: Haru quietly thought, 'It's really nice to walk alone in the forest.'

Ja: 彼は喘息を抱えていたが、それを周りの人には伏せていた。
En: He had asthma, but he kept it a secret from those around him.

Ja: 自らの弱さを見せたくなかったのだ。
En: He didn't want to show his weakness.

Ja: しかし、陽光が緑の葉を透過し、幻想的な光が森に満ちる中、突然、彼の胸が重たくなった。
En: However, as sunlight filtered through the green leaves, filling the forest with a fantastic light, suddenly his chest became heavy.

Ja: 息をするのが苦しくなってきた。
En: Breathing became difficult.

Ja: 「しまった、発作が来たらどうしよう。」
En: 'What should I do if an attack comes on now?'

Ja: 心配が膨れ上がり、彼は立ち止まった。
En: As worry swelled up inside him, he stopped.

Ja: 引き返すべきか、続けるべきか。
En: Should he turn back or keep going?

Ja: 彼は足を止め、しばらく考えた。
En: He paused for a while to think.

Ja: そして、彼はもう少しだけ進むことにした。
En: Then, he decided to move forward a little more.

Ja: けれども、その決断が彼の体を裏切った。
En: However, that decision betrayed his body.

Ja: 突然、激しい発作に襲われ、彼はひざまずいた。息ができない。
En: Suddenly, he was struck by a severe asthma attack, and he knelt to the ground, unable to breathe.

Ja: 「助けて！」心の中で叫んだ。
En: 'Help!' he screamed internally.

Ja: しかし、声を出せなかった。
En: But he couldn't produce any sound.

Ja: そんな時、遠くから声が聞こえた。
En: At that time, he heard voices from afar.

Ja: 「大丈夫ですか？」それはアキラとユミだった。
En: 'Are you okay?' It was Akira and Yumi.

Ja: 彼らはハルトのところに駆け寄り、すぐに助けてくれた。
En: They rushed over to him and immediately helped.

Ja: アキラは速やかに助けを呼び、ユミはハルトに優しく声をかけた。
En: Akira quickly called for help, while Yumi spoke gently to Haru.

Ja: 「大丈夫、一緒にいます。」
En: 'It's okay, we're with you.'

Ja: 森の密やかな美しさの中で、ハルトは二人に支えられながら、少しずつ呼吸を取り戻した。
En: In the secret beauty of the forest, supported by these two, Haru gradually regained his breath.

En: Haru took another deep breath, feeling lighter at heart, as he left the forest together with his new friends who had helped him.
