We also discuss fishing pressure, tournament pressure, changing fish behavior, and why the Potomac may not be “dead” — but it is absolutely different.

Steve also gives an incredible breakdown of how to catch Potomac River bass right now, including his favorite summer techniques: chatterbaits, swim jigs, frogs, punching mats, Texas-rigged Senkos, spinnerbaits, docks, pads, hard cover, and old-school Carolina rigs. He also shares one of his secret topwater baits — the Hub’s Chub — and explains why it can trigger pressured bass and snakeheads when other baits won’t.
