Cs: Slunce zářilo nad Prahou a nebe bylo modré bez jediného mráčku.
En: The sun shone over Prahou and the sky was blue without a single cloud.
Cs: Vonělo létem a lidé se shromažďovali ve veselé náladě v parku Majakovského.
En: It smelled of summer, and people gathered in a cheerful mood in parku Majakovského.
Cs: Děti běhaly kolem fontány, jejich smích se linul vzduchem spolu se šploucháním vody.
En: Children ran around the fountain, their laughter mingling with the splashing water in the air.
Cs: Všude kolem rozkvétaly květiny a tráva byla svěže zelená, jako by každý lístek oslavoval příchod letních slunečných dnů.
