-CBS Sports’ Brad Crawford picked Nebraska to start 5-0 yet finish 6-6…which would be a story all too common for a program struggling to win in the months that matter most---the only win he has after the 5-0 start is at Rutgers in November
-That means losses to Indiana, Oregon, Washington, Illinois, Ohio State and Iowa. None of those are bad losses or surprising, but another loss to Illinois further proves what Bret Beilema is doing in there in comparison to what isn’t happening in Lincoln…and that screams yet another year without a ranked victory
