Ga: Bhí na dabhcha ag seinm leo ar feadh na tráthnóna, agus bhí an farraige ag bualadh isteach i gcoinne na gcloch thíos fúthu.
En: The drums played throughout the afternoon, and the sea was crashing against the rocks below them.

Ga: Siobhán ab ainm do bhean óg a bhí i gceannas ar fhoghlaim na dtuairiscí.

Ga: Bhí smacht aici ar an gclár, agus bhí na héin ag éisteacht go géar léi.
En: She had command over the program, and the birds listened intently to her.

Ga: Bhí dúil mhór ag Siobhán leis na héin chreiche, go háirithe leis na seabhca dubha.

Ga: Bhí sí cúramach agus aireach, gan ligean d'aon bhaol teacht ar na héin ná ar lucht féachana.
En: She was careful and attentive, not allowing any danger to come to the birds or the audience.

Ga: Thosaigh Siobhán amach ar fad lena turas taispeántais.
En: Siobhán began the showcase with full focus.

Ga: Thug sí na héin amach go cúramach, croíthe an phobail ag bualadh le gach gleo.
En: She brought out the birds carefully, the hearts of the people beating with every sound.

Ga: Ach ansin, de phroinnt, chonaic sí Pádraig ag ullmhú dá ghníomhaíocht, ag dúshlán a chuirfeadh air an riosca a ghlacadh.
En: But then, suddenly, she saw Pádraig preparing for his act, challenging himself to take the risk.

Ga: Bhí sí idir dhá chomhairle.
En: She was torn between two minds.

Ga: An dtabharfadh sí cead dó?
En: Should she give him permission?

Ga: Nó an gcuirfeadh sí cosc ar a ghníomh?
En: Or should she stop his action?

Ga: Bhí an t-am ag brath ar na soicindí.
En: Time was ticking by the seconds.

Ga: Agus ansin, tharla sé.
En: And then it happened.

Ga: D'éirigh Pádraig leis an gníomh.
En: Pádraig succeeded in his act.

Ga: Rinne sé an manuvéar uafásach le crógacht, agus scríobadh gaspanna ón slua.
En: He performed the audacious maneuver with bravery, and gasps were heard from the crowd.
