Australian Federal Police and Queensland Police have seized 2.7 tonnes of cocaine worth $816 million in the largest cocaine bust in Australian history. The drugs were discovered hidden in underground plastic containers beneath shipping containers with false floors at a property in Londonderry, southwest Sydney, after an initial seizure off Mackay led investigators to the location. Two men, aged 21 and 25, have been arrested and charged with possessing a commercial quantity of drugs, with police investigating possible links to the coconut cartel.
