Luke 9:51-62

The first 9 chapters of Luke answer the question, "who is Jesus?": the Christ of God. Now, the focus shifts to the question, "what does it mean to follow him?". Jesus said that anyone who would come after him, then, must deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow him. But what does that mean on the ground level? Pastor Mike shows us from Luke 9:51-62 that following Jesus means rejection without retaliation, and renunciation without regret. So first we’ll talk about rejection without retaliation, then renunciation without regret.
