Af: In die hartjie van die Iziko Suid-Afrikaanse Museum, waar die geluide van kinderlike opwinding die lug vul, staan Karel en Anri voor die skitterende geskenkwinkel.
En: In the heart of the Iziko Suid-Afrikaanse Museum, where the sounds of childish excitement fill the air, stand Karel and Anri in front of the sparkling gift shop.

Af: Dit is winter, en die koue Kaapse wind waai buite, maar binne is dit warm en geel beligting verlig die oulike trinkets en opvoedkundige boekies.
En: It is winter, and the cold Cape wind blows outside, but inside it is warm, and yellow lighting illuminates the cute trinkets and educational booklets.

Af: Karel, ‘n vindingryke universiteitstudent, staan met blink oë.
En: Karel, an inventive university student, stands with bright eyes.
