Hastings Fireworks Rules & Safety

Hastings Fireworks Rules & Safety

Published 18 hours ago
Description

Fireworks in Hastings are back — but with new rules to keep everyone safe. You can buy and set them off from June 28 through July 4, with extended hours on the 3rd and 4th. No public street, sidewalk, or park use without a permit, and no tossing from or into cars or using floating lanterns. This year, unused fireworks won’t be collected by Fire & Rescue — but they’re still happy to help you store or dispose of them safely. Adults must supervise, and used fireworks should be soaked in water overnight. Call 402-461-2350 with questions.
