Frisco Police have now released the body camera footage from the arrest of Karmelo Anthony along with the 911 dispatch call, and to me these new pieces of evidence make the self defense argument even stronger. In the body cam footage, Karmelo Anthony can be heard multiple times telling officers that he was protecting himself, that he asked Austin Metcalf not to put his hands on him, and that he was innocent. He even asked officers if Austin was going to be OK, which raises even more questions about intent. 

While many people will continue to debate the case, some believe these newly released recordings support a claim of self defense or at the very least point toward m@nslaughter rather than unaliving. 

We'll break down the body cam footage, the 911 call, and why these new releases are reigniting the debate surrounding the case.
