Murphy, Executive Director of Compensation Services for the Veterans Administration in Washington, DC.
Executive Director Murphy, discusses the VA’s effort to speed up claims and to reach out proactively to our Desert Storm and Gulf War veterans to ensure they are informed on the new presumptive disease approvals as well as making sure that their families are likewise informed. She outlines the procedure for filing claims and emphasizes that if veterans are unsure as to whether or not to file, they should file. Phone numbers and website information to assist with those claims are discussed in the program.
