Sv: Det var en solig sommardag i Sverige, och midsommaren var precis runt hörnet.
En: It was a sunny summer day in Sverige, and Midsummer was just around the corner.
Sv: Den lilla staden fylldes av doften från blomkransar och det hördes skratt från folk som förberedde sig för firandet.
En: The small town was filled with the scent of flower crowns and the sound of laughter from people preparing for the celebration.
Sv: I hjärtat av staden låg kommunens samlingssal, där dagens val skulle hållas.
En: In the heart of the town lay the community hall, where the day's election was to be held.
Sv: Axel, en ung och sprudlande volontär, hade kommit tidigt till lokalen.
