Sk: Bolo leto a slnko svietilo jasne na malebné mestečko.
En: It was summer and the sun shone brightly on the picturesque town.

Sk: V srdci tohto mesta stála starobylá radnica.
En: In the heart of this town stood the ancient town hall.

Sk: Dnes mala zvláštnu úlohu - bola to volebná miestnosť.
En: Today, it had a special role - it was the polling station.

Sk: V ovzduší bolo cítiť napätie, ale aj vzrušenie.
En: In the air, there was a sense of tension but also excitement.

Sk: Ľudia sa zhromažďovali, diskutovali, niektorí sa iba potichu pohybovali ku kabínkam a hádzali hlasovacie lístky do urny.
En: People gathered, discussed, some quietly moved to the booths and dropped their ballots into the urn.

Sk: Ladislav, oblečený v pracovnej kombinéze, práve ukončil svoj deň v elektrárni.
