En: In a quiet room somewhere in South Africa, in the thick of winter, Karel sits behind his computer.
Af: Sy hande beweeg vinnig oor die sleutels, en aan sy voete dra hy sy geliefde "geluksokkies.
En: His hands move quickly over the keys, and on his feet, he wears his beloved "lucky socks."
Af: " Hulle is blou met wit strepe, en Karel is vas oortuig dat hy met hierdie sokkies aan altyd 'n wenner is.
En: They are blue with white stripes, and Karel is convinced that with these socks on, he is always a winner.
Af: Intussen, kilometers verder, sit Anika met 'n koppie warm sjokolade langs haar.
