Honolulu Airport Parking Rates Rising

Honolulu Airport Parking Rates Rising

Published 3 days, 13 hours ago
Description

Starting July 1, parking at Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport will cost more for longer stays—$1 extra after six hours, $2 after seven, and $30 by 2027 for eight+ hours. The first 15 minutes remain free. These hikes fund critical upgrades: repairing Terminal 2’s aging concrete, electrical, and drainage systems, plus a new 3,500-stall employee parking garage on Ualena Street (construction soon, done by 2029). That’ll free up space for the Diamond Head expansion. Parking expansions are also coming statewide at Lihue, Hilo, Ellison Onizuka, and Kahului starting 2028. Check real-time rates, maps, and EV spots via the HNL Info App.
