Kaimana Beach is back open—thanks to a happy ending for monk seal mom Kaiwi and her pup Anela, who’s now safely relocated to a remote spot to grow up wild. Born May 3rd, Anela was named “sunset angel” by Waikiki Elementary students, and her mom’s a pro—this is Kaiwi’s seventh pup, born right there on the sand.
