Ep238 Addiction Tried to Kill Me BUT God Restores- Alexis LeCroy
Description
For 12 years, I lived in addiction—IV heroin, crack, meth, fentanyl, prostitution, homelessness, and six overdoses in one year. I lost custody of my daughter, used during both pregnancies, and was surrounded by family members who used drugs with me. Synthetic marijuana nearly killed me, I was hospitalized multiple times, and a car accident and two‑week drug binge left me hopeless, anxious, and suicidal. But even when I was running from God, He never stopped pursuing me. Through overdoses, hospital rooms, and near‑death moments, His mercy kept pulling me back. Everything changed when Jesus opened my eyes to eternity and rescued me from the pit. “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” (2 Corinthians 5:17) Today, I worship Jesus with my children, lead others in worship, write Christian music, and share my testimony with women in addiction, young mothers, the homeless, and those trapped in prostitution. What the enemy meant for evil, God turned for good. I’m now married to a godly husband and evangelist, expecting another child, and living proof that Jesus still saves, restores, and transforms lives.
