A world-first motor neurone disease database has been established in Queensland through collaboration with the University of Queensland and researchers nationwide. The medical data bank aims to assist global researchers in finding a cure for MND, which affects more than 1,300 Australians. The database launch follows recent high-profile diagnoses including NRL player Jai Arrow and the passing of MND campaigner Neale Daniher.
