A stolen white Audi led police on a high-speed chase through Sydney's inner west, travelling through the M8 tunnel from Summerhill to Alexandria where it came to a stop on Lawrence Lane. Three occupants fled on foot after the vehicle stopped, with one woman arrested while two men remain at large. The incident began with an attempted break-in at a Spencer Street residence in Summerhill, and police allege the Audi was stolen from Newtown in early May.
