Construction has resumed on Sydney's $3 billion M6 tunnel after a two-year halt caused by sinkholes that opened up in early 2024. The NSW Government and contractor CGU have reached an agreement to complete the final 250 metres of the four-kilometre underground motorway using ground stabilisation techniques, including grout injection.
