Volkswagen recalls models over instrument panel fault

Description
Volkswagen has issued a recall for Polo hatchbacks, T-Cross and T-Roc SUVs manufactured in 2024 and 2025 due to a software bug affecting the instrument panel. The fault may cause the panel to fail to illuminate, preventing drivers from seeing critical information including speed, fuel levels and other important data. Affected owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until a free software update is installed by authorised dealers.
