Third man charged over alleged Adass Synagogue firebombing

Counter-terrorism police have charged a 20-year-old Airport West man as the third person involved in the firebombing of the Adass Synagogue in Ripponlea on December 6, 2024. The accused, already in custody for alleged tobacco war-related crimes, is believed to be a foot soldier of kingpin Kazem Hamad, who investigators say ordered the attack from Iraq. Police have confirmed no evidence of further planned attacks against the Jewish community.
