After a stellar career jumping from front of house to back of house and even running his own businesses, Rowan Tihema (The Mermaid Beach House, Coffs Harbour) jumped as lockdown approached in Melbourne and moved to NSW to be closer to his family and try and make sense of what was going on. The move proved life-changing, and after finding the most extraordinary site sitting idle he embarked on a our journey to open his own vision of a regional restaurant that has evolved quickly to capture the appetite and interest of the locals, and tourist in equal measure.
