Ripley, who sacrificed his life in 1972 by destroying a critical bridge under fire, Major James Capers Jr., who led his team through a brutal ambush in 1967 despite severe wounds, and Major Nicholas Dockery, who risked everything in 2012 to rescue wounded soldiers under Taliban fire — all will be recognized in a ceremony marking one of the largest Medal of Honor honors of Trump’s second term.
