Qantas unveils aircraft for historic Sydney to London non-stop flight

Published 6 days, 3 hours ago
Description
Qantas will launch the world's first non-stop flight from Sydney to London in just over a year, using the new Airbus A350 aircraft for the 21-22 hour journey. The airline unveiled the specially painted aircraft at the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France, with London chosen as the inaugural Project Sunrise destination due to high demand and its historical connection to the original kangaroo route. The service will save passengers up to four hours compared to current one-stop flights, with Melbourne to London routes to follow.
