Jonathan, a 194-year-old giant tortoise living in St Helena west of Africa, has been officially unveiled as the world's oldest living land animal. Born in 1832, he is a world record holder and one of only 50 remaining tortoises of his kind. The average life expectancy for his species is 150 years.
