Af: In die stil, koue hoek van Stellenbosch se pragtige, beveiligde gemeenskap het dit tyd geword vir die jaarlikse tuinkompetisie.
En: In the quiet, cold corner of Stellenbosch's beautiful, secure community, it was time for the annual garden competition.
Af: Almal in die gemeenskap het gespanne voorberei, maar niemand het so hard probeer soos Riaan nie.
En: Everyone in the community prepared anxiously, but no one tried as hard as Riaan did.
Af: Met liefde en trots het hy elke plant versorg, sy oog op die prys.
