Trinidad Chambliss is MARKED SAFE from NCAA, CONGRESS

Episode 2841 Published 1 week, 3 days ago
Description

Trinidad Chambliss is safe. The loophole the NCAA wanted to use to claw back his eligibility — the part of the Protect College Sports Act that would have let it override state injunctions — got cut out of the revised bill. Per Yahoo's Ross Dellenger, the applicability section no longer touches pre-existing eligibility cases like Chambliss's; it now only covers pending sports-wagering cases. Steven Willis breaks down what changed, why the NCAA never should have lumped Chambliss in with the Brandon Sorsby gambling case, and why this is officially over. Then: Dabo Swinney tries to walk back his January comments about Luke Ferrelli — and why it's six months too late. Drop your Week 1 Chambliss stat line vs Louisville in the comments.
