An inquest is examining the stabbing death of 10-year-old Bridgette 'Biddy' Porter by a 14-year-old girl who loved knives, heard voices and fantasised about killing her own parents. The teenage killer's grandmother told the inquest she saw red flags that the girl was in crisis and needed help, while the killer's mother expressed regret for not getting more mental health support for her daughter before the tragedy. The teenager was found not criminally responsible for Biddy's death on mental health grounds.
