Today we’re doing a three-part conversation surrounding the growing backlash against Jay Z and his partnership with Target. First, comedian and commentator DL Hughley has gone viral after reposting a clip from Quentin Lathan criticizing Jay Z over the Target deal and questioning why Beyoncé didn’t intervene. With major voices in entertainment now openly speaking out, many people are asking whether Hollywood itself is beginning to distance itself from Jay Z and whether influential Democrats and celebrities will continue to publicly support him.
