Tropical Storm Arthur is now the first named storm of the 2026 Atlantic Hurricane Season. The National Hurricane Center upgraded the system to a tropical storm at 10 a.m. Arthur is moving northeast along the Texas coast and is expected to cause life-threatening flooding across parts of the southeast United States.
