Description
For the first time ever, Nehemiah appears before the king sad:
- The checkered history of King Artaxerxes, and why Nehemiah was right to be afraid of him
- The mysterious queen mentioned - was she Artaxerxes wife, or possibly queen Esther?
- Artaxerxes allows Nehemiah to leave, and grants him the materials needed in order to build the walls of Jerusalem
- Two men are very upset when they learn that Nehemiah has come to Jerusalem to repair the wall
