Sl: Luka je prišel nazaj v svojo otroško sosesko.
En: Luka returned to his childhood neighborhood.
Sl: Poletje je bilo v zraku, sonce je sijalo močno in toplo, listje na drevesih je nežno šepetalo v vetru.
En: Summer was in the air, the sun shone strong and warm, and the leaves on the trees gently whispered in the wind.
Sl: Gated Community, kjer je preživel prve dni svojega življenja, je bila mirna in skoraj nespremenjena.
En: The Gated Community where he spent the early days of his life was quiet and almost unchanged.
Sl: Stare in nove hiše so se lepo prepletale ob urejenih travnikih, medtem ko so se otroci veselo igrali v skupnem parku.
En: Old and new houses blended nicely along the well-kept lawns, while children happily played in the communal park.
Sl: Ko je Luka vstopil skozi železna vrata, je čutil mešanico radosti in tesnobe.
En: As Luka entered through the iron gates, he felt a mix of joy and anxiety.
Sl: Park spominov je bil živ.
En: The park of memories was alive.
Sl: Vsako drevo in vsak kotiček sta mu pripovedovala zgodbo.
En: Every tree and every corner told him a story.
Sl: Toda nekaj je motilo to spokojnost.
En: But something disturbed this tranquility.
Sl: Luka je ugotovil, da njegova otroška hiša, kraj njegovih najbolj dragocenih spominov, stoji ob strani pogube.

Sl: Pred njim je bil plakat: "Razvoj projekta: Nova vila. Rušenje se bo začelo 1. julija."
En: Before him was a poster: “Development Project: New Villa. Demolition will begin on July 1st.”
Sl: Mateja in Anže, njegovi prijatelji iz otroštva, sta ga prišla pozdravit.
En: Mateja and Anže, his childhood friends, came to greet him.
Sl: "Luka, si slišal?" je vprašala Mateja, medtem ko je njen obraz izražal zaskrbljenost.
En: “Luka, did you hear?” asked Mateja, her face expressing concern.
Sl: Anže je tiho prikimal.
En: Anže nodded silently.
Sl: "Ja, slišal sem," je odgovoril Luka.
En: “Yes, I heard,” replied Luka.
Sl: "To moramo ustaviti."
En: “We have to stop this.”
Sl: Odločil se je zbrati podpise skupnosti za peticijo proti rušitvi.
En: He decided to gather signatures from the community for a petition against the demolition.

Sl: Spomini so bili živi.
