En: Under the warm sunlight of a summer's day in Zagreb, the gated community was alive with excitement.

En: Colorful flags fluttered along the streets, and the air was filled with the aroma of cooking and laughter.

En: It was the day of the summer celebration, an event everyone had been eagerly anticipating.

Hr: Ivana, mlada žena u kasnim dvadesetima, sjedila je u svojoj dnevnoj sobi.
En: Ivana, a young woman in her late twenties, was sitting in her living room.

En: She had recently undergone surgery and needed to rest, yet her adventurous spirit wouldn't let her stay at home.

En: Touching the bandage on her arm, she decided she simply had to be there with her friends, to feel part of the community.

Hr: "Samo malo," pomislila je.
En: "Just for a little while," she thought.

Hr: "Samo da osjetim energiju.
En: "Just to feel the energy."

En: Her neighbor, Marin, knew of her plan.

En: Marin was always sensible and practical.

En: "Ivana, you should rest," he had told her the night before.

En: He was more concerned about her health than he wanted to admit.

Hr: Ali Ivana nije htjela čuti.
En: But Ivana didn't want to listen.

En: When the sound of music and laughter came through the window, she knew she had to go.

Hr: Tiho je, pažljivo, otvorila stražnja vrata i izašla.
En: Quietly, carefully, she opened the back door and stepped out.

En: In the alley between the houses, her heart beat quickly, not just from excitement but also a bit from fatigue.

En: Marin, watching from his window, saw Ivana disappear around the corner.

En: With a sigh, he decided to follow her.

En: He knew how much participating in the celebration meant to her, but he also knew how important it was for her to fully recover.

En: At the celebration, children played, adults conversed, and music filled the space.

En: Ivana walked slower than usual, but with a smile.

Hr: Nije mogla sakriti radost zbog povratka među prijatelje.
En: She couldn't hide her joy at being back among
