He also followed it on the morning of September 11th, 2001, when it told him something was very wrong with a flight his girlfriend was about to board.
She canceled.
The flight was American Airlines 77.
It hit the Pentagon.
But that's not even the most extraordinary thing John Novello tells us today. In this conversation, we go places most interviewers never take him.
