New prostate cancer testing guidelines for all Australian men
Published 1 week, 3 days ago
Description
Australian men of all ages will soon be able to request blood tests for prostate cancer under new early detection guidelines expected within weeks. The changes mean doctors should not refuse a PSA test to any man who requests one, regardless of age or risk profile. More than 26,000 Australian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year, with ten dying from the disease every day.
