A broad area of low pressure located inland over South Texas is producing a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. According to the National Hurricane Center, whether or not this develops into a tropical system, it will bring periods of intense rainfall to Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas over the next few days.
