The 72 files released on Friday don’t include the kind of blockbuster revelation that Trump has teased. There’s no conclusive evidence of alien life or government cover-ups. But the files reveal new details about some recent sightings, along with the government's efforts to explain what many find inexplicable. 

During an interview with NOTUS published Monday, California Democrat Robert Garcia said that “in the last few months, it feels like Republicans have decided that they’re done.” Garcia also said House Democrats would work to subpoena Vice President Vance regarding his involvement in the handling of the Epstein files. 

Stress along the San Andreas and San Jacinto faults in Southern California has reached the highest levels in 1,000 years, according to new research from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
