Emijah Smith, an advocate and strategist for children and families, joined The Mother’s Justice Show with host Omari Salisbury to discuss her work dedicated to transforming racial inequities and supporting grassroots leadership in Black and underrepresented communities.  Emijah shared her expertise on the role Black women and mothers play as the backbone of community protection and advocacy, while addressing the significant challenges facing them today. She reflected on the wisdom she received from Black women that shaped her path and offered actionable guidance on how community members can support, affirm, and center the transformative voices of Black women and mothers.
