Nine-year-old Perth student Hania Ahmed was fatally shot by police in Pakistan during a family holiday after officers mistakenly believed armed robbers had fled in the family's car, also injuring her father and brother. In New York, 63 people were arrested after the Knicks' NBA championship win when celebrations turned violent, resulting in a shooting, four stabbings, injuries to ten police officers, and damage to police cars and school buses.
