When We Can Help Someone Along the Way
Every so often, we find ourselves in a position to make someone else’s journey a little easier.
In Genesis 18, Abraham encountered three strangers and sensed something sacred in the moment.
He invited them to rest, brought water for their feet, and offered food for the journey.
He didn’t know where they had come from or where they were going.
He only knew he could help them continue on their way.
We seldom know the whole story of the people we meet.
We don’t know where they’ve been or where their journey will lead.
But we do know we can offer a moment of care that helps them on their way.
