Melissa DeRosa and the Cats & Cosby team discuss the internal fragmentation of the Democratic Party. The conversation centers on the controversy surrounding Graham Platner, a candidate whose personal scandals and extremist views serve as a case study for what the speakers describe as a "stark divide" between moderate leaders and the far-left fringe. DeRosa argues that the party is currently suffering from a selective application of outrage, where radical members prioritize ideological purity and the influence of Bernie Sanders over vetting viable, stable candidates.
