Andy and Kennedy attempt to pinpoint at what time MTV became the most influential by pushing alternative, rap, and hip-hop music in their regular rotation, as well as how they rebranded the network into a soapbox for various musical artists to be able to hop onto. 

They recall some of the most notable celebrities encounters such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Dennis Rodman.
