En: Ján stood in the middle of Sky Park Tower in Bratislava, surrounded by the glitz and modern design.

En: Ján never knew how to choose gifts well.
Sk: Väčšinou kúpil niečo generické, bez osobného dotyku.

Sk: Marek, jeho dobrý priateľ, kráčal vedľa neho s trpezlivosťou v očiach.
En: Marek, his good friend, walked beside him with patience in his eyes.
Sk: Marek poznal Jánovu sestru lepšie než on sám.

Sk: “Neboj sa, Ján.
En: “Don't worry, Ján.

En: We'll find something that will make her happy,” he said with an encouraging smile.
Sk: Prechádzali sa po obchodných pasážach.
En: They strolled through the shopping arcades.
Sk: Obchody boli plné jarných noviniek, ľahké šaty vo výkladoch sa hojdali v jemnom vetre z klimatizácie.

Sk: Každý obchod mal niečo jedinečné: kabelky, šperky, oblečenie.
En: Each store had something unique: handbags, jewelry, clothing.
Sk: Ján si pripadal bezradne.
En: Ján felt helpless.
Sk: Koľkokrát už držal niečo v ruke, len aby to nadšene opäť vrátil na poličku, neistý správnosťou svojho výberu?
En: How many times had he held something in his hand, only to enthusiastically place it back on the shelf, uncertain of his choice?
Sk: Marek ho však neustále povzbudzoval a ponúkal návrhy.
En: However, Marek continually encouraged him and offered suggestions.
En: “Try to focus on what she likes.
Sk: Niečo, o čom viete, že už dlho chcela.”
En: Something you know she has wanted for a long time.”
Sk: Čas utekal.
En: Time was ticking away.
Sk: S každou minútou sa Ján cítil viac pod tlakom.
En: With every passing minute, Ján felt more pressure.
Sk: Nakoniec, keď už slnko klesalo za horizont a Sky Park Tower osvetľovali teplé svetlá, Marek ukázal na jemný náramok.
En: Finally, as the sun was setting beyond the horizon and Sky Park Tower was lit by warm lights, Marek pointed to a delicate bracelet.
En: “I think she might really like this.
Sk: Vždy sa zaujímala o jemné šperky.”
En: She's always been interested in delicate jewelry.”
En: His gaze slipped to a coordinated scarf that had caught his eye at the beginning of their quest.
Sk: Zapochyboval.
En: He doubted.
En: But Marek waited patiently, without a word, but with support in his eyes.
Sk: Nakoniec Ján prikývol.
En: In the end, Ján nodde
